The questions practice owners and office managers bring us most, grouped by how the system works and by each service. Anything not here? Bring it to your strategy call.
The Engagement
How the system works for you
How does the whole system fit together?
LaunchMD is one integrated system, not four separate services. Your Google Business Profile, SEO website, twice-monthly content, and reputation platform are deployed in a deliberate order so each reinforces the others: reviews and content feed your rankings, your website anchors everything, and the whole thing compounds month over month. You can see the full rollout on The Process to Launch page.
How long until we see results?
The full system is live within 30 days, and Google Business Profile improvements often show within the first several weeks. Organic search is cumulative: most practices see meaningful movement in 3–6 months, and the gains keep compounding from there. We set honest expectations in your strategy brief before anything is built.
How involved do I need to be?
Very little. We handle the build, the profile rebuild, content research and drafting, publishing, and the review workflows. Your main job is a quick review and approval of content before it publishes under your brand, and letting us know about practice updates. Most clients spend just a few minutes here and there.
Are there long-term contracts?
We’ll walk through engagement terms on the strategy call. Because organic growth compounds month over month, the system is designed for ongoing partnership, but you’ll know exactly what the commitment looks like before you decide anything.
What kinds of practices do you work with?
LaunchMD is built exclusively for medical and dental practices: dermatology, orthopedics, dentistry, primary care, med spas, specialty clinics, and more. The framework adapts to your specialty; the focus on healthcare never changes.
What happens after I book a strategy call?
On the call we run your practice through our competitive and gap analysis, show you where you stand across search and AI, and walk through how the system applies to your specialty and market. You’ll leave with a clear picture of the first 30 days, with no obligation to continue.
Pillar 01
Google Business Profile
Do I need a new Google Business Profile, or can you fix mine?
Almost always we optimize your existing profile; it usually already holds reviews and history worth keeping. We take over management, correct every field, and rebuild the parts that are holding you back. We only start fresh if there’s a duplicate or a profile that can’t be recovered.
How fast will I see movement in the Map Pack?
Profile improvements often show within the first several weeks because the changes are direct relevance signals. Prominence, driven by reviews and your website’s authority, compounds over the following months, which is why this pillar works best as part of the full system.
Will you respond to reviews for us?
Yes, with HIPAA-conscious language that never confirms protected health information. Review collection is handled by the Reputation Builder pillar; review response is part of ongoing profile management.
Who owns the profile: you or me?
You do, always. The profile is your asset; we’re added as a manager. If we ever part ways, your profile, reviews, and history stay entirely with you.
Yes, the LaunchMD Framework site replaces your existing website because the SEO structure is the foundation everything else builds on. We handle the migration of your content, set up redirects, and move your domain so nothing you’ve already earned is lost.
Will I lose the rankings I already have?
No. Preserving and improving your existing equity is the whole point. We map your current pages to the new structure and implement redirects so search engines carry your authority forward; most practices see rankings hold and then climb.
Can I edit the site myself?
We manage the site as part of the system, including the structural SEO that’s easy to break unintentionally. For day-to-day updates (hours, staff, announcements), just send them over and we keep everything consistent and optimized.
How is this different from a normal web designer?
A web designer optimizes for how a site looks. We optimize for whether patients find it: structure, on-page SEO, technical performance, and the connections to your profile, content, and reviews. The design is clean and professional; the difference is everything underneath it.
Articles are drafted by healthcare-focused writers around keyword research for your specialty, then reviewed for medical accuracy. You approve every piece before it publishes under your brand; nothing goes live without your sign-off.
How much of my time does this take?
Very little. We handle research, drafting, the accuracy check, publishing, and internal linking. Your only job is a quick review and approval of each article, usually a few minutes per piece.
How many articles do I get, and can I get more?
Your ongoing service includes two articles a month, published on the 1st and the 15th for the duration of your contract. For an additional $500/month you can add two more articles a month, for a total of four: one new article every week.
How soon does content start driving traffic?
Content is a compounding play, not an instant one. Early articles begin ranking over the first few months, and the effect accelerates as your library and authority grow. The position you build keeps working long after each piece is published.
Will the articles sound like my practice?
Yes. We write in a voice that fits your practice and your patients, and your review step is where you fine-tune anything. Over time we learn your preferences, so the drafts arrive closer and closer to ready.
How do you handle patient privacy in review requests?
Our workflows are HIPAA-conscious by design. Review requests never reference diagnoses, treatments, or any protected health information, and the process fits inside your existing patient communication practices. We walk through the details on the strategy call.
Can we send only happy patients to Google?
No, and we won’t set it up that way. Screening patients first and sending only the satisfied ones to Google is called review gating, and Google’s policies prohibit it. Every patient gets the same request and the same link, which keeps your profile safe and builds a rating patients trust.
Will this create more work for my front desk?
Very little. Sending a request takes one tap at checkout, and the QR code lets patients leave a review on their own. Automatic sending, coming soon, will take even that step off your team’s plate.
How quickly will my rating improve?
Most practices see new reviews begin arriving within the first weeks of activation. Because the system runs continuously, your volume of recent reviews and your rating build steadily month over month, and that momentum feeds directly back into your Map Pack ranking.
